What Can I Do With FrontPage 2003?

Presented By Web Sales Machine

FrontPage 2003 is a program that induces people to take sides.  People either love it or hate it.  Its opponents say it is outdated and adds too much irrelevant code to its pages.

There are two sides to every story, and there are those that feel FrontPage is a great product.  FrontPage is an HTML editor, of course, and it allows people to create websites.  It offers several different views, including the popular “what you see is what you get,” also known as WYSIWYG.

For those that have experience with coding, FrontPage has a code view that allows people to hand code a site.  There is also a split view that enables people to see both the coding and the easy-to-design screens.

Another benefit of FrontPage is that it allows people to publish their web pages onto the internet very easily.

If you are familiar with Microsoft products, you will most likely find FrontPage easy to use, and you are sure to find many uses for it.

FrontPage obviously allows people to create websites, but it doesn’t stop there.  There are many more creative uses for the program.

Because it is an HTML editor and the fact that it offers such easy design functionality, people can use FrontPage to create customized newsletters in HTML.

Once created, the designer can publish them in an online archive and send their customers the link to the latest issue. Another option is to switch to the code view, copy the code and paste it into an autoresponder.

A person doesn’t need to create a full newsletter to take advantage of FrontPage’s capabilities.  The HTML editor allows people to create simple emails, too.  This may include adding a simple header, signature line, or a few graphics.

Speaking of graphics, FrontPage can be used to help a person visualize what their graphics will look like on the web. FrontPage comes with a preview pane, and when a person is creating a layout and clicks on that pane, they will see a replica of how their site will look on the web.

This can help someone decide if the font they are using is big enough, easy to read, and so forth.

FrontPage is a very versatile piece of software that can be used to fill many different design needs within a business.
